Meet Josh – A Seoul Photographer with a Global Story

Hello! My name is Josh (Lee Jung Han), a full-time professional photographer born and raised in Seoul, South Korea. My passion is capturing the authentic beauty of international travelers exploring this dynamic city—whether it’s a solo travel adventure, a romantic couple photoshoot, a memorable family vacation, or a once-in-a-lifetime surprise proposal.

From Global Backpacker to Local Storyteller

Before dedicating my career fully to photography in Seoul, my worldview was shaped by years of living and traveling overseas:

  • 2013: I set off on my first working holiday in Australia, which opened my eyes to diverse cultures and new perspectives.
  • 2015: I embarked on an intensive two-month backpacking trip across Europe—exploring Germany, Czech Republic, Austria, Hungary, Croatia, Italy, Switzerland, France, and the UK. Walking through historic European streets taught me the timeless value of visual storytelling and capturing emotions that transcend language.
  • 2017: I moved to New Zealand for another working holiday, immersing myself in nature and deepening my visual craft behind the lens.
  • 2019: Back in Seoul, I spent years balancing two passions—working as a specialty coffee barista and a professional photographer. Over time, photography evolved from a beloved craft into my lifelong calling.

Having been a backpacker, expat, and traveler myself, I know firsthand what it feels like to stand in an unfamiliar city. I understand how valuable genuine memories are, and I bring that empathy and global perspective to every single photoshoot.

What to Expect from a Photoshoot with Me
